Taking Care of your Bathtub

What do I use on my tub to clean it after having it refinished?

Due to the non porous surface of the glaze there is no need to use abrasive cleansers. Most household cleansers will produce excellent results.

Please do not clean your tub for 1 week after the refinishing process, do wipe out excess water after each use..

Some Tips to Keep your tub looking new:

  1. Avoid bar soap or bottles or any objects on the finish for long periods of time and never any metal bottles or cans we recommend a shower caddy to store your hygiene products on .
  2. Leaky faucets MUST always be repaired before our arrival, no warranty will be honored if left un-repaired.
  3. Avoid the use abrasive cleansers or cleaning pads. No SOS pads, No Comet, Ajax or Soft Scrub.
  4. Avoid the use of bath mats with suction cups underneath..
  5. Any surface dust will dissipate in 2 weeks with normal cleaning and usage, do not pick surface dust off with finger.
  6. The best way to keep tub clean, wipe down with towel after each use (you don’t have to wipe dry).
  7. Please allow up to 24 hrs for caulking to cure. Always keep caulking maintained.
  8. Here are some cleaners to use. Please follow manufactures suggested instructions, 409, Lysol tub & tile Cleaner, Dow Scrubbing Bubbles, Mr.Clean (liquid or eraser), Fantastic, Kaboom or any other non-acidic non abrasive non bleaching cleaner
