Tile Refinishing

Ceramic tile refinishing is a process of restoring the tile surface that may be worn, missing grout, lost its luster, or you are just done with it. The cost and mess of a re-model can be a headache, this process is an easier and much more cost effective solution of getting through the hassle of replacement, especially in homes from the 1950’s through the 1980’s when mortar and wire backing was the preferred install process.

Tile walls, Tile bathtub surrounds, Tile shower enclosures, and Tile counters can be refinished. We can resurface ceramic tile in any solid color or multi-color finish. Having this done will permanently seal the grout lines, gone are the days of having to “sand blast” your tile just to get the grout lines clean…

Older and newer tile can have a variety of issues, before refinishing, a on site inspection is recommended. One issue is the condition of the grout such as missing or recessed grout lines. Others are any structural issues such as large cracks, broken or missing tiles and mold and mildew problems. These issues can be easily fixed simply by re-grouting and replacing or repairing cracked or broken tiles. Not all tile issues can be repaired, if replacement is needed, I will explain the problem and the reasons for not being able to repair..
